I have been dedicated to my personal healing path for several years now.  A series of transformative experiences culminated in my decision to pursue healing work as my path.  I met Dana DeLong and after my first Clarity Breathwork session asked her to teach me this work.  I now have a private practice in Oakland.

Among the strengths I bring to breathwork are opening up to presence through deep listening, and from this place of presence, exploring what arises through a process of inquiry.  I always temper this quest for truth with loving compassion.

Some of the perspectives and principles I bring to my work are:

- a natural curiosity to explore, experience and understand
- a natural ability to connect and relate to people
- to deeply listen to the client and to my own intuition
- to guide people to be gently compassionate with themselves while holding the broader perspective of where we can expand and grow to meet our fullest potential

Central among my influences is the living example that Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, or Amma as She is known to Her children, offers the world of a life based in loving service.

Biography:

I grew up in a foreign service family, living in McLean, Virginia just outside Washington, DC.  We then moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  After spending my formative years in Rio, I returned to the US to go to college in California, after which I put down roots in the Bay Area.  During this time my family was stationed in India, which I have visited several times.  On my last visit to India I traveled to Amma's main Ashram in Kerala, where I stayed for a month - chanting, meditating, doing yoga and service.  I live with my loving partner, Eliza Sumner, in Oakland.
